In this article, you'll find two sections, one describing how to log in to your Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) account via the website and another covering logging out.
Note: If you don't have a Here Comes the Bus account (and HCTB is being offered by your school district), you can create one by using the procedure at Creating an Account.
Logging In
To log in to HCTB using the website, follow these steps:
- Navigate to https://login.herecomesthebus.com.
- Click in the Email Address field and type the email address you used when creating your account.
- Click in the Password field and type your password.
Note: If you've forgotten your password and need to reset it, click Forgot Your Password? and follow the instructions at Resetting a Forgotten Password from the Login Screen. - Click in the School Code field and type your district's code, which is usually a five-digit number.
Note: Your email address and code may already be filled in for you, if the website saved these from the account-creation process or a previous login. - Click Log In.
The Here Comes the Bus Map screen will appear.
Logging Out
You log out of your HCTB account via the website as follows:
Click Log Out at the top right of the screen.
A success message will appear. The box will include a link to return to the Login screen.
