If you would like to change the name of a Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) push contact to help you keep track of the mobile devices in your account list, such as if you gave your old smartphone to your student, follow these steps:
- Log in to HCTB. (See Logging In to Here Comes the Bus for details, if needed.)
The Here Comes the Bus Home screen will appear.
- Tap Settings.
The Settings screen will appear.
- Tap Contacts.
The Contacts screen will appear.
- Tap the Push Notification drop-down arrow to expand your list of push contacts.
All the mobile devices associated with your account will appear in the list.
- In the row of the device whose name you want to change, tap
.
The Edit Contact dialog box will appear.
- Select the current name of the push contact and type the new name you'd like to use.
- Tap Save.
The new name will appear in the Push Notification list, and a success dialog box will appear.
- Tap OK.
