If you need to change the email address you use to log in to your Here Comes the Bus (HCTB) account and to receive email notifications, or if you have to update your profile first or last name, follow these steps:
- Log in to HCTB. (See Logging In to Here Comes the Bus for details, if needed.)
The Here Comes the Bus Home screen will appear.
- Tap Settings.
The Settings screen will appear.
- Tap Change Profile.
The Change Profile screen will appear.
- To change your profile's first name, select the name in the top Name field and type your new first name.
To change your last name, select the name in the second Name field and type your new last name.
To change your email address, select the current one in the Email field and type the new email address.
- Tap
at the top right of the screen.
You'll be returned to the Settings screen, and a success dialog box will appear.
- Tap OK.
Note: If you changed your email address, you'll need to log out and log back in again before the new email will appear on the Notifications screen. (See Logging Out of Here Comes the Bus and Logging In to Here Comes the Bus for details, if needed.)
Also, you'll need to turn on and off notifications for your new email address; for guidance, see Turning Off and On Specific Push and Email Notifications.
Be aware that it may take up to 24 hours for your new notifications to start.
